Jumping On The Bandwagon of Courage
So, last year, I decided to jump on the bandwagon of courage and start my own business from home. If you knew me, even a little bit, you would know that I don't usually embark on spontaneous adventures. However, I decided to jump into the pool without a life jacket and see where this adventure takes me. Yay me!
Here I am, working as a parent coach and special education advocate, and I get to do it from home. Wow! I love what I do, and the best part of my adventure is that I have the privilege of helping families acquire the appropriate services for their child and provide the supports that they need to feel at ease with their concerns. There is nothing I can identify as more rewarding at this point in my career. I work with parents in different areas of need, which sometimes may include advocating for their child, homework struggles, bedtime routines, and implementing strategies and techniques to help with managing behaviors. I guess you could say; I'm like Supernanny, but more relaxed and with an American accent.
Oh! By the way, some of my favorite things are; my morning cup of coffee, Pistachio nut ice cream, reading, listening to music and spending quality time with my family. Now you know a little about me and my courageous journey. Don't forget to reach out and let me know how I can help!
